Join us on a day tour from Stavanger. After a 40 minute fjord crossing by ferry, we drive along the scenic Ryfylke National Tourist Road - stunning views on a series of fjords, lakes and mountains guaranteed - to the start of the hike: Hagalid Mountain Farm.

Hagalid Mountain Farm is a mountain farm in the beautiful Ryfylke fjord region. The farmyard is situated 300 meters above the Jøsenfjorden. Sheep and Christmas trees are the main productions today. The spectacular farm road was completed in 1960. At the farm, a new summer gallery has been established in two houses, now housing an exhibition and sale of Norwegian art and crafts, mainly by artists from the fjords. Sofiehuset (Sofie's house) is originally the main house of the farm, from aprox. 1840. The house was moved in Desember 2013 and renovated. Some old furnitures and antiques from the farm, give the gallery it's authentic atmosphere. The old Eldhuset (Smoke House) is also part of the gallery.

The 7 kilometer and 5 hours (roundtrip) hike leads us through farmyards and forests to the spectacular Ullsvikjuvet Gorge and Skomakarnibbå, providing magnificent views on the Jøsenfjord and surrounding mountains and islands of Ryfylke.
